Biography

Gorgon's Terrigen exposure gave him hooved, massively muscled legs and the ability to generate seismic shockwaves by stamping — enough force to level a building or knock a Fantastic Four member off their feet from across a street. He is Black Bolt's cousin, the captain of Attilan's Royal Guard, and the Royal Family's blunt instrument by choice as much as by design: where Karnak reasons and Medusa negotiates, Gorgon volunteers to go first.

His introduction in Fantastic Four #44 had him hunting Medusa on Maximus's orders, and Marvel has repeatedly used his loyalty as a weak point — he follows the crown, and when the crown is contested he becomes the most dangerous piece on the board. He was killed and resurrected by the Hand during Wolverine: Enemy of the State, and returned to the Royal Family with the scars of it.
